A foot of land for Guru
(Plea)
A lot of devotees of Lord Ayyappa consider this as their final destination to conclude the pilgrimage. However, the ashram lacks facilities even to cater to their basic needs such as sanitation. The ashram is situated on a rocky terrain. There is a small plot in its frontage. We are unable to buy this land as the entire money received as contribution was spent on charity as we walk the talk that service to human is service to God. We need to raise about 40 lakhs of rupees to buy the land. Our community is not wealthy enough to raise this amount, yet the members are contributing to the maximum extent possible. We intend to build facilities to conduct classes on spirituality as well as a community hall for social gatherings.
The Madamon Sreesubhananda Santhi Ashram is envisaging welfare measures for the all-round development of the society. “A foot of land for Guru” is an unpredictable programme based on this holy idea. We pray the earnest support and participation of all in this venture. Liberal support from all believers would be appreciated for A foot of land for Guru, to develop the Ashram into a center of knowledge, service and worship.
