When I was 30 years old , I accompanied my sister-in-law to meet an astrologer, despite I have a rational mind. Strangely, he told me that I was redeemed to life by Subhananda Gurudevan, when I was nine years old. Then he paused…
I got up …….
……..“thank you for your nice words ….. good bye …. I am leaving.”………..
I did not believe that and got up and said …….
……. thank you for your nice words ….. good bye …. I am leaving…….
Why? He paused.
I replied “you are patently wrong, I was 22 years old when I first heard about Subhananda Gurudevan”.
He prompted me to sit down and continued …….
“at the age of nine, following a fight with the parents, you decided to leave the native place and walked out of the house”.
I was convinced and spell bound.
On leaving home, I reached the banks of a stream and sat staring at the glittering fishes. An old man, clad in saffron, appeared, pacing to and fro in front of me.
The hermitage started as a place to meditate and be instructed in spiritual and artistic matter that is combined of a small group of people. The most sacred time the upholders considered is in the course of their 'Bhajanas'. The Bhajan rituals are very well known and done in a very spiritual way that is so consecrated and in a closed enhanced structure rooms with such a divinity. The customs and all the ideologies are adopted exaclty by the true believers and followers of Sri. Subhanandha Gurudevan. Following that his disciples have done everything as authentic as it is. To keep it pure and legitimate the master always take good concentration on the plans to renovate the 'Ashram'. The main and foremost aspiration of Gurudevan was to reach the hearts of million of common people and exude his dogma to them. The pure aura does give a charismatic effect to the Ashram so taking into consideration the trust members decided to renovate the Ashram into a more sophisticated manner. Accordingly the reconditioning of the friary does fascinate the enthusiasts whoever willing to take an insight into the sacristy of the exertion. The amount worshippers kept on elevating to the monastery as time passes. The ideologies of Sri. Subhananda touched large number of hearts and changed their life to sparks of enlightenment.
He mingled with the underprivileged and so called untouchables to educate them that 'God has no distinction between and all creations are equal to him'. The morals put forward by him has been carried own by his admirers. So keeping that alive there is daily Bhajanas and other activities carried on in the Ashram. (Add some other activities also). On that account the working of the Ashram is going on by the generous donations. The upholders and admirers of Sri. Shubhanandha who made enormous changes in the life of deprived people make the working and all activities of the Ashram by helping through donations. And for the revamping it is also done ina charismatic and artistic manner that exhibits the history and stories of 'Hindu Purana'. The first thing that done was the five storeyed Thazhikakudam. The most amazing art forms are done inside the Sreekovil, as Chuvar Chithrangal or Murals, which is an integral part of various cultures and traditions from around the world. Kerala Mural paintings are the frescos depicting Hindu mythology in Kerala. The technique for mural painting is the fresco style where colors are applied on slightly wet surface. The one where the colors are used on a dry surface is the dry Fresco style. One painting takes about 41 to 60 days to get over. The outlines are drawn in a yellow and then filled in with colors. The Murals inside the 'Sivankovil' is mainly focused on the 'Ten Avatars' of Lord Vishnu. The Hindu scriptures speak of the Ten Avatars' they are thought to have been present in the Satya Yuga, ' The Golden Age or Age of Truth' when the mankind was ruled by God collectively the Avatars' of Vishnu are called " Desavatara".
